End of a surf season and a start of another

Wow is all I can say about the last two months. Devin competed in the NSSA nationals at lowers and Surfing America at Huntington. First was lowers...Lowers was all time. It was about 3 to 4 feet the whole time we at lowers. During Devins heat of the 11 and under, the waves weren't showing as it was earlier. Devin surfed really well but he ended up just missing the next round by a .02. So our time at lowers came to an end and it was time to move on to Huntington to practice.
Devin had two NSSA divisions (Mini grom and super grom) to compete in. In the mini grom the same thing happen again, he need a .3 to advance. But in the super grom he advanced to the quarter finals and just missing the semi's in fourth. And with that our national run came to an end.
Overall it was a great experience for Devin. But he did surf really well and now he knows what to expect when it comes to national level surfing next year.
We want to thank Aerial7, Ransom, and FCS for hooking Devin up. Aerial7 mahalo letting us hang out and hooking the kids up with some sick headphones. Also Ransom once again for letting the Cru from Hawaii come through. FCS for hooking devin up with some new FCS fins.
A Huge Mahalo goes out to the Blanco's for putting up with the brue cru for three weeks. Can't thank you guys enough.

It was a great trip and end of a surf season. Now we are on the Garden Isle to start the new surf season. Let's do this!!!

Till next time peace...
