Well its been a few days or weeks since the last posting. So here I am to provide you with some updates. Well there has not been that much going on as of late other than free surfing on a regular basis. The surf team has been hitting spots on the Westside mostly. But on occasions we head to the north shore to get in a session or two. Other than that the kids has been getting ready for their next surf meet by surfing, cross training (skate boarding), and just having fun. The next surf contest might be the Volcom contest or the Feb. HASA event, we will see which one will be held first.
Below are some random pictures from the past couple of weeks...

BH Surf & Skate day
To start off the New Year we brought the Blue Hawaii Family together for a surf and Skate day.
It started off in the surf at white plains. The BH tent was up, BBQ was flaming, and the sun was shinning. The perfect setting for an impromptu surf contest. So the surf contest was on, we had three rounds of surfing in ankle high surf and pitching. Everyone that enter did really well even those who (Marlin) didn't catch a wave and felt they deserved to advance. In the end the Blue Hawaii Surf team (E.J., Jordan, Devin, Nicole) took the top spots with Little Marlin and Kai a few points behind. I do want to give some props to Little Marlin who made the finals and it was his first time surfing. Great Job Little Marlin!!!
The crew that entered the contest.
After lunch and some more free surfing we headed out to the Kapolei skate park to watch the Blue Hawaii skate team do their thing in the bowls. All I know is that Karl, Dyson, Nick, Ryan, Kyle and the rest of the crew was killing it. Some mile long grinds and big airs were definitely on the menu that day.
Blue Hawaii in the House...
Dyson doing some front side 50....
Karl just destroying the bowl....
As day light fades all I can say it was another fun fill day with the Blue Hawaii Family.
No walls just friendship...
Till next time...Peace

Holiday Outing RVCA house
Over the Holidays the Blue Hawaii Crew was invited to hang out with the RVCA gang at their V-land estates. I tell you what Pat and the rest of the RVCA gang knows how to put on a BBQ. All I can say the food was off the hook. They had some live music being played by two very talented individuals. The highlight of the evening was the blue hawaii youth meeting some of top the individuals in the surf world, art scene, MMA, and music arena. All I can say is the kids had a great time. I want to say Thank You to RVCA gang and a special Thank You to Pat and his family for opening up their pad for us to hang out for the evening and treating us like family.
